rivers bed made
bright by light reflections
cast from sources left unseen yet pictured here
with this selection

angel light found in drops of sun
formed without a meaning
found not planned
yet here in search of thought

leavings all will surely change

light will animate the dark
leaves will move with the wind
sticks and stones will find new ground as waters
flow in season

but here for moments they stand in peace and
minds will test their reason

Sun has changed its movement to lower in the sky

long days shorten lengthen night

water movews to still in pools and ponds
before the storm of winters come

on surface spills the light of autumns fall

a colored moment sets before the spell is broken

in quickensed steps like buds of spring
soon yellow shows the wind

confettied whispers sign their message sent

and pallid days begin

falling in the wind
first rain
slants its way to sun

as oak calls to shade and light at once

the boulder moves to stones throw away

and just beyond the spiral bends through
boiling clouds of shadows marching

on the slopes mid-range

and gone
